The enclosed bay that makes up Kalamitsi beach, together with the other two bays that follow it, is one of the most beautiful places to swim in Sithonia. Travelling from Sykia towards the southern end of the second leg, Kalamitsi is located after Klemataria beach and takes the visitor’s breath away at first sight.

The peculiarity of Kalamitsi is none other than the small rocky islet a few metres off the coast, which is used by swimmers and even more by those who like diving or mask diving to explore both its submerged part, which presents various shapes around the rocks, and the island it forms. Access is easy, with only a few metres to swim.

The beach is well organised, with a beach bar, sunshades, deckchairs and all the necessary facilities for water sports and other activities, but it “breathes” with wide open spaces. Its width helps, as it can accommodate several visitors, leaving room for everyone. In the adjacent stream is the famous campsite of the same name.
